Atalanta scored five goals against Bologna to take sole possession of second place. Lazio beat AC Milan and got back into the Champions League race while Juventus struggled in Florence. An excellent Napoli put Torino back in trouble. At the bottom of the table, Cagliari did well but Inzaghi's Benevento is still in big danger.

10/10…To Atalanta, who deserves the silver medal in the league

Six victories and a draw in the last seven games. Gasperini's Dea wins with five goals against Bologna, thanks to the usual super performances of Muriel, Zapata and Malinovskyi, and conquers the second place. The Bergamaschi continue the trend of recent seasons, when in the second half of the year they transform and become unstoppable for anyone. Atalanta fears no one and at the moment seems to be the main candidate to close this Serie A behind Conte's Inter.

9/10… To Lazio and Napoli in the running for a Champions League spot

Inzaghi's team defeated Pioli's Milan 3-0. Gattuso's team won 2-0 in Turin against Nicola's Granata. The Biancocelesti now see the Champions League zone just five points away and have to recover the match against Torino just before the end. Napoli confirmed their excellent form and are now in third place. Two teams that will play until the end and that could create nasty surprises to Milan and Juventus.

8/10... To Darmian and Conte's line-up

0-1 to Bologna, 2-1 to Sassuolo, 1-0 to Cagliari, 1-1 to Napoli and Spezia, 1-0 to Verona. Darmian still as decisive as against Cagliari. The Inter external player, with the goal in the 76th minute on an assist from Hakimi, granted the victory over Verona and brought Conte's team even closer to the Scudetto, from which it is separated only by the mathematical certainty.

7/10...Cagliari's crucial points: survival is now possible

Here's the third win in a row. After Parma and Udinese, a 3-2 win over Roma has revitalised the Sardinians and allowed them to catch Torino and Benevento, with Spezia and Fiorentina just ahead. Semplici has regenerated a team that has regained confidence, led by Joao Pedro and Marin, who literally exploded in the second half of the season. Among those who have to maintain their position, Cagliari seem to be the most determined and hungry team.

6/10... To Simy's Crotone

A 3-4 as useless as deserved, Crotone beat Parma at the Tardini stadium thanks to a great performance from Ounas and yet another double from Simy. The Nigerian striker, with 19 goals this season, has earned the interest of many A teams. Satisfaction for Cosmi and for the whole group of players from Calabria, who move away from relegation while waiting for the match against Inter on Saturday afternoon.

5/10... To Italiano's Spezia who lost the derby

Defeat for 2-0 in the Ligurian derby with Genoa. A defeat that doesn't have immediate effects, but that could take away serenity to a team that every now and then runs into dangerous moments of pause. Spezia are two points ahead of the chasing trio. But they have to find Verona away from home, Napoli at home and Sampdoria away from home before the direct confrontation with Torino. It's not such an easy path and not a totally peaceful situation for the team.

4/10... To Juventus' declining performance

1-1 in Florence in other circumstances might well be considered a positive result. But to date the problem, for Pirlo's team, is the way this has progressed: and that is with yet another disappointing group display. A team that struggles enormously against lined up defences, that creates very little, with a Ronaldo in a negative period and a Dybala still too uncertain. The Bianconeri must regroup because the qualification to the next Champions League is definitely in jeopardy.

3/10... To AC Milan who risks ruining everything

The best team of 2020 risks to see everything compromised right in the final. Two consecutive defeats and many problems to solve, starting from the uncertain defensive phase. The Rossoneri have Benevento before the direct clash at the Stadium against Juve. In the next two weeks Milan will play for access to the next Champions League. Failing once again would depress an environment that had recently calmed down.

2/10… To Hellas' comeback season

Juric continues to claim that Verona play well and don't deserve defeats. But the data says that only Parma, Crotone and Benevento have collected fewer points than Verona in the second half of the season. The team has given up and is in danger of seeing a top-10 finish, that would have been deserved for what they showed until January, disappear. Three times in the last six matches Hellas have missed the appointment with the goal. With Spezia there's only one objective: to react and get back to scoring.

1/10… To Parma, that said goodbye to every hope

Not that there were great expectations before. Now, however, the flag is definitely lowered and the Ducali must prepare themselves mentally to the descent in Serie B. Four goals conceded by the last in the standings, four defeats in a row, 11 points away from the salvation zone with five days to go. The goal of D'Aversa and all the boys of the Emilian team is to close the game with dignity before preparing for a new ascent.

0/10… To Benevento with one win in their last 17 games

Excluding the great win against Juventus in Turin, Benevento's comeback season is a horror movie. In fact, all the advantage on the pursuers has collapsed, leaving space to a real worry of living a new relegation. It's a real shame to discard the excellent first half of the season, but the calendar doesn't help: Milan, Cagliari, Atalanta, Crotone and Torino. Two superior teams, two direct clashes and one relegation. A half-hearted effort is needed to stay in Serie A.
