Ancelotti's Everton returned to shine in the derby. Guardiola's men continue to collect victories in the league and cups, City is now 10 points ahead of Leicester and Manchester United. Victories also for the two chasers, against Aston Villa and Newcastle. Instead it was a complicated match day for Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool.

10/10... to Everton returning to win a derby at Anfield after 22 years Everton won the derby against city rivals Liverpool. It is the first success in the 2000s. Carlo Ancelotti's men defeated Liverpool 2-0 thanks to goals scored by Richarlison and Sigurdsson. The three points earned allowed the Toffees to move substantially in the PL table.

9/10... to Manchester City's 18th win in a row

Manchester City have not lost since 21st November and are still on top. This time Guardiola's men got the better of Arsenal (1-0) thanks to Sterling's early score. It is imperative to also mention Riyad Mahrez's assist, that became the decisive factor in the winning goal.

8/10... to West Ham who move into fourth place in the Premier League

Victory for WHU who won 2-1 and grabbed three very important points. After Antonio's goal broke the game open, the Hammers doubled it with Lingard, making Tottenham's plans much more difficult. Mou's men tried until the very end but could only narrow the gap in the 64th minute. The effort to fend off the attempts was completed and it was Moyes' team that celebrated.

7 /10... to United and Leicester who will not give up the chase for the title

Sunday ended with an easy 3-1 victory for Manchester United over a Newcastle increasingly in crisis. Solskjaer's team with this success remains at -10 from the leader City. Leicester also won 2-1 in a difficult away match against Aston Villa. The Foxes remain attached to the Red Devils in second place and begin to taste the Champions League placement.

6/10... to Crystal Palace's painful victory over Brighton

It was an underwhelming game that saw neither team play any exciting football. But the crucial victory allowed Crystal Palace to move further away from the relegation zone. After a 1-1 draw, Benteke's goal in the 95th minute gave the visiting team the victory.

5/10… to Chelsea's draw against Southampton Just a draw for Chelsea at St Mary's Stadium. The Saints went ahead in the 33rd minute thanks to Minamino and the Blues responded in the second half with Mount's penalty. Tuchel's men came home with just one point at a crucial time in the season.

4/10… to Arsenal who remain steady with their 34 points

At the Emirates Stadium, the visitors took the lead in 2 minutes and the Gunners were unable to react. For Arsenal this is the third defeat in the last four league games. The London team continue to sail in the middle of the table with very little chance of qualifying for the next Champions League.

3/10... to Mou's Tottenham slipping to ninth place and 9 points off the Champions zone

Tottenham lost their second consecutive game and move further away from the Champions zone. A particularly complicated moment for Spurs, who had started the season very well. The difficulties seem to come mainly from José Mourinho, who at the direction of the London club, has scored just 81 points in 50 league games.

2/10... to the scoreless draw between Burnley and West Bromwich

A 0-0 draw between Burnley and West Bromwich Albion. Sam Allardyce's men tried harder than their opponents but failed to score. The Baggies remain at the second-last place in the standings and the salvation is further away (fourth-last Newcastle is 11 points away).

1/10... to Liverpool, with two goals conceded and zero points taken home

It was not a great day for Liverpool. Klopp's team, once they conceded the first goal, uselessly sketched a reaction. Trent Alexander-Arnold's foul was the symbol of a defence that was constantly in trouble. The Reds suffered their fourth consecutive defeat and lost further ground from the Champions League zone.
